Mallorca signs former Bayern Munich coach Vedat Muriqi as new "boss"

Martin Demichelis has been appointed as the new coach of Mallorca, officially returning to the bench after leaving Mexican club Monterrey in May 2025. The 45-year-old Argentine takes charge of the Spanish team at a delicate stage of the season.

Mallorca are facing difficulties in the championship and are currently in danger of relegation. In these circumstances, the club's leaders have entrusted the bench to Demichelis, with the aim of changing the course and ensuring survival in the elite of Spanish football.

The Argentine coach's contract is valid until the end of the season, while its renewal will depend on achieving the objective of remaining in La Liga.
