Not good news from Italy for Igli Tara, the Albanian has increased competition to take over the position of sports director at Milan.
According to what Italian media reports, Tare is currently not the main contender to take the important position at the Rossoneri, after the Rossoneri CEO, Giorgio Furlani, is holding talks with another competitor, who is considered a stronger contender than the Albanian.
We are talking about Markus Krosche, who has a wealth of experience, especially in the Bundesliga, where for two years 2019-2021 he was the sports director at Leipzig, then for 3 years he was a board member and general manager of the market at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 44-year-old is considered the main contender to take over the position of Milan's sporting director, as he is the main alternative to Furlani, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic, now in the role of advisor, continues to insist on Igli Tare.
The official announcement of Milan's new sporting director is expected to take place next week.
